Awesome customer service no doubt about it!
I had a very, very bad experience shopping here. ?Tracy sold diamond hoop earings and the clasp was broken. ?She would not take the earings back until I threaten to write a bad review on her Better Business Bureau site. ?I will never, ever shop here again.
Do not shop here… ?terribly quality and bad service!!!I bought an eternity ring about two years ago and roughly two diamonds ?will fall out per year. ?The worst part is that I don’t even wear the ring often (maybe 5 times a month). ? The first time, within 4 months of having the ring two diamonds fell out and the owner (Tracy Allen) charged me $150 to replace two diamonds ?(she claimed that is what it would cost her to replace the diamonds). ?She blamed me for being rough w/ the ring when I only wore the ring handful of times and she acted as though she was doing me a favor. ?18 months later, a diamond fell out and Tracy told me she would only charge me what it would cost to replace the diamond again. ?When it was time to pick up the ring she told me that it would cost me $285 claiming that the cost of diamond has gone up. ?What a rip off!!! ?She didn’t honor her words. ?I know for a fact it didn’t cost her $285 to replace the diamond. Not only is Tracy Allen a liar, her products are poooorly made. ?The customer service is horrible. ?Tracy Allen is only helpful before you make your purchase. ?Do not waste your money there.
I went back to inquire about the 1.98 engagement ring in the pave setting and about the warranty. ?They only have a 1 year warranty on their rings Men’s Jewelry, and after that, each replacement for the tiny diamonds on the settings is $50-90. ?Pop Gems quoted us $12 per diamond. What a rip off. ?I guess there is a reason why I didn’t look at boutique jewelers so that basically means I won’t be coming here for my engagement ring.Their other jewelry pieces are nice and stylish, but I’d rather walk five feet over to Nordstrom and pay the same price for a David Yurman collection. ?At least there, I know I’ll get the wonderful Nordstrom customer satisfaction and guarantee backing up my buy!
My fiancee and I came here (among a few other boutique jewelry stores) to have her engagement ring reset and resized. ?I’d bought the diamond before proposing and we shopped around to find the right jeweler who’d reset the ring the way she wanted it. ?Tracy and her staff stepped us through their aesthetic and, more importantly, were really great about listening to what my fiancee wanted. ?Together, she and Tracy designed a beautiful ring.I’ll admitt, when Tracy told us it’d take her jeweler two days to do the ring, I was a bit skeptical. ?Other jewelers told us it’d be a week at the earliest. ?We went to pick up the ring two days later, as promised CZ Jewelry, and it exceeded each one of our expectations. ?Tracy and her team did a wonderful job. We’ll be going back to get the wedding bands when it’s time for that too. ?Thanks Tracy!
DON’T SHOP HERETerrible QualityI will personally guarantee that AT LEAST 1 stone will fall out of anything you purchase here :) Terrible Customer ServiceI also guarantee they will try to charge you $90-$100 every single time a stone does fall out (which for me was 3 times in 2 years)
This is my go to jewelry place (well wholesale jewelry, actually my boyfriend’s go to jewelry place for me). ?I have 2 pairs of earrings, a necklace, and a ring from here. ?There pieces are more beautiful than anything I have ever seen. ?Think David Yurman, yet much more delicate and feminine. ?Tracy herself is often there and is super friendly. ?Her eye for design is incredible–each piece is exquisite. ?I get endless compliments on everything I have from there. ?They are classic pieces, not trendy, simple and glamorous. When the stone fell out of my ring, Tracy replaced it for only $100 because there was no damage to the prongs. ?I thought it was a reasonable price. ?I hope to own everything in the store someday ; )
her stuff is sooooooo marketable- as in, she knows what the general woman will like. her designs are cute&feminine&fairly well-priced for ‘fine jewelry’….beats going downtown&haggling w/indian vendors!
I met Tracy Allen 12 years ago when she visited the set of The Donny & Marie show to personally deliver jewelry that had been purchased by Marie Osmond. At that time, she was working out of a brief case, making connections with potential clients by word of mouth only. She offered an exquisite array of fine jewelry that was affordable to my then modest budget. Over the ensuing years, her great taste, high quality product, and tremendous prices made her the jeweler of choice for not only me, but also the countless satisfied friends I was happy to introduce to her.I knew it was only a matter of time that this secret could be shared by only a select fortunate few, but I was thrilled when her retail store opened.I have been nothing less than completely satisfied with the product, pricing and service offered at Tracy Allen Fine Jewelry. No matter the occasion or the budget, there is nowhere else I would go to find the perfect piece of jewelry.

I love this little shop. ?I wish I could buy everything in it. ?This is my go-to store when I can’t figure out what to get someone for a present. ?I will always, ALWAYS, find something for them here. ?Although, be forewarned, that this place seems to cater to a predominantly feminine aesthetic. ?Though they do have a little something for everyone. ?Cards, journals, jewelry, glassware, etc. ?Each item looks as if it was specifically picked to fit the style of the store, which means that when you give it to that special (or even not so special) someone, you are giving them something that has a lot of thought put behind it.They often have sales, although things are already reasonably priced. ?They also provide gift-wrapping services for free. ?Minimum charge on a credit card is $10. ?My friend only wanted to get two greeting cards, and had to go to the ATM across the street.
I adore this little gift shop! ?I seldom get a chance to spend much time in it, but I find so many great little and inexpensive treasures (under $20) that I always go away with a bag full of great “stuff.” ?Even though from the outside the place looks somewhat traditional, their very eclectic selection makes this spot of one my top three stops for gifts in LA. ?It never disappoints… especially to stay within my budget or just to get a great hostess gift, etc. to store away until needed. The owners / staff are super nice Silver Jewelry, too.
I LOVE THIS STORE! ?It is so cute and nestled on Larchmont which is possibly the best street in LA! ?Everytime I need to buy a cute, unique and fun gift for someone, I know I can always find what I need at Village Heights. ?I often stop by to browse just to see what they have in stock as shopping here just makes me Happy Antique Costume Jewelry! ?I suggest everyone be sure to check it out. . .you’ll add it to your list of favs too!
Residents in and nearby Larchmont Village are clinging onto the small slice of mom&pop stores that line Larchmont Blvd. btw. Beverly and 3rd. ?Even distant neighbors know that a developer got his claws on the land and is trying to bully the unique and quaint into closed for business. We have a job to do: a responsibility to our friends who hand pick each and every item in their store, that remember your name and the last purchase you made, who I may even send my boyfriend to pick out a gift alone. ?Tucked in next to Peet’s Coffee and easy to miss from all the hanging out that happens in front of the coffee shop is my go-to wedding, housewarming and “I don’t know these people so well” gift store.I’ve never walked into the store without being greeted with a friendly “hello”. ?Lewis is our guy who will find the perfect gift even if I’m not seeing anything. ?He has vision and he is someone my boyfriend and I love to visit which is a gift itself. ?At first glace, you may think “oh I’ve seen this stuff at other stores”, but look harder. ?Look above you and on the walls. ?Then look at the price tags. ?Notice some items you’ve never seen before? ?See some price stickers that look like a mistake? ?That’s Village Heights and that’s why I never leave the store without the gift I was looking for. ?From unique platters (clever but never kitschy), ornate glasses, a writing section, handbags, local jewelers work on display to more functional items like a cute wine bag with room for a bottle of wine, plus everything you need to pop and drink it (plastic cups – smart), you’ll find the perfect gift and probably snap up something for yourself. ?Why not? ?It’s like a cupcake – you deserve it and (unlike the cupcake) you won’t even feel guilty. Two of my favorite collections are VH’s cuff links and business card holders. ?They, and pretty much everything in the store, look far more expensive than you’ll be paying for them. ?Who doesn’t have business cards in LA? ?How often are they wedged into a big bulky wallet (awkward!)? For $30, treat your friends, your stylist, realtor, dad antique watches, trainer, graduate – um anyone who works or is trying to work – ?to a holder. ?My friends have *loved* these gifts. ?We had to buy a gift for an agent and all we knew is that he was a guy. ?No age, no marital status – that was it. ?We bought him a “typewriter” themed card holder and yup, he loved it.There’s no rush and no pressure so peruse until you’ve looked at everything twice (during the holidays they have homemade treats and sometimes cocktails!) and hey, I know it’s hard, but ask for help, even if your budget is $25 – they don’t judge. It’s like having a personal shopper. ?Oh and they are mac daddy gift wrappers – chic paper and ribbon – for free!Check the site for hours: the only downside about the village is that their stores open late and close early, so if you have a quick gift to buy, make sure that they are open.

I have bought several pieces of jewelry from Moiz; from diamond tennis bracelets to diamond earrings, and he is fantastic. ?I have had the pieces independently appraised and they were as good as he said, and the quality is spectacular.|||Out of all the jewelers in the jewelry district bangles jewelry, learn from our mistake and DO NOT GO HERE.We are repeat customers and were treated with disrespect and dishonesty. The 1 carat eternity band we bought in September fell apart in 3 weeks and the owner key chains, Moiz gift ideas for men, blamed and mocked us. After charging us more money he finally agreed to replace the stone. After I picked up the repaired band, I took it to a few jewelers in the area (recommended on yelp and through friends) and found out that the total carat weight was only .77, NOT 1.0 carats as indicated on the receipt. All of the jewelers also commented on the poor construction of the band (very thin metal framing the stones which is why they became loose so fast) and said it was only a matter of time before it would fall apart again.Rather than going back to deal with these horrible people, we ended up spending even more money to get the band re-set at Bridal Diamond Palace. The owner, Neil, was respectful and honest.

We are really grateful for the help of the watchmaker and staff here! ?We had a nice gold watch that we brought to another jeweler in Westwood for a simple battery change and the other people totally gouged the back of the case and caseback. ?The competent folks at Morgan were able to repair the damage caused by the other jewelers within 24 hours! ?Great people and a nice showroom full of wonderful watches. ?Will bring all of our gold watches here for service in the future!!!
I’m so happy that I chose to bring my work here. ?I had two Aquamarines that were given to me by a relative when I was 3 cool keychains, and had been shopping around for someone I could trust to set them in a ring and pendant.Marcus has an artistic eye and really knows what combos work best to highlight the color and cut of stones. ?At the same time, he really respects your personal tastes and doesn’t try to push anything that may look good technically, but you won’t love. ?The staff here really wants you to LOVE the final product, and I do! ?Pricing was very reasonable, they had a great selection of stones in house so I could look at different color and shape combos, and the staff was super friendly. ?Bonus points for the super cute dogs that hang out in the shop!I will definitely be back to Morgan and Co. for my future jewelry needs!
This is a great, small and personal shop who honors all clients the same. My husband isn’t a big spender but buys all my jewelry from Marcus who ?gives my husband the same respect he would the big spenders.Marcus also standd by his work, forever. He just took my wedding ring set and made it look like new with a new coat rhodium. He never charges us for things like that.Last, Marcus has beautiful things for every budget. New and old. He found a gorgeous antique saphire for my husband and made my wedding band with that. When I wanted a locket one year, Marcus found one perfect for me -This is a stand-up business so hard to find these days.Great staff too – Rosalee is great!
Call me compulsive (you wouldn’t be the first), but I have visited over 50 jewelry stores in the LA area, SF, Seattle, and the Midwest in search of an engagement ring. I wanted something that was classy, so I would enjoy wearing it the rest of my life, but it also had to be unique. This combination of “different and classic/elegant” proved to be hard to find, but I ultimately got the perfect ring for me at Morgan & Co. Their collection of antique rings really stood out to me and set them apart from other jewelers. Of course, they have some contemporary rings and other jewelry and watches diamand ring settings, too. Be sure to check Morgan & Co. out in person, rather than relying on their website. There’s a lot to be seen in the store that’s not online. And if you go to store, you have the benefit of Marcus and Emiko’s expertise. They are very genuine and helpful.
From the moment we stepped into this place we felt like we had made the right decision. The staff is super friendly and really knowledgeable in all types of jewelery, including their specialty antique. My fiance and I walked in looking for wedding rings and instantly was shown amazing pieces that would go with her antique engagement ring.We had multiple issues with her engagement ring from a previous jeweler so we were very skeptical at this point about any jeweler. We were sat in the back area with a very nice and knowledgeable woman. I really liked how they took the time to sit with us and go over everything on a one on one basis. She helped us with many different choices until we found one that was perfect. She also explained that they could size the engagement ring and have the owner Marcus look at it. We were a bit reserved about that because of the nightmare from the last jeweler. We did have an initial consultation with her which was great and then met with Marcus. He was very though row and of course knowledgeable in every aspect. We picked out the wedding rings and work had to be done on her band to make the ring from an eternity band to 3/4 of one. He then looked at my fiances engagement ring and we explained the troubles we had been having. It took Marcus less than 5minutes of explaining to us of what work had been done wrong and what he could do to make it right. I saw how much more confident my finance was in this assessment than at any other time with the ring. We still waited for the work to get done on the wedding bands before we left the engagement ring. We picked up the bands and were instantly excited and happy on the job that he did.Exactly what we had wanted and complete professionalism the whole time. We were then confident to leave the ring and Marcus knew how nervous we were so he again re-assured us of everything. In no time at all the ring was ready and we went to pick it up…still a bit nervous. He did an amazing job and it turned out to be everything we had hoped for.The prices are amazing and they never try to up-sell you on anything. Now a days it is really hard to find such a place that is both honest and fair..this is the place! I would HIGHLY recommend Morgan and Company for ANY jewelery needs..whether it be antique or custom. They have a great selection in house and always more to show from their back area. This will be the 1st place that we visit anytime we are looking for jewelry. Thanks for an amazing experience!
We came here to find my fiance a wedding band and found the perfect one! It’s a beautiful shop in a great area. ?The owner and sales people are very knowledgeable and honest. ?If I ever need any jewelry for myself of any repairs I would go here instantly. ?Especially if it is an antique piece that I am cautious about giving over to just anyone. ?They know their stuff gift ideas for bpyfriend!
I cannot say enough about Morgan & Company. ?From the moment I walked in the door, I knew that this wasn’t your typical jewelry store. ?We happened upon Morgan & Company by pure luck, we were looking for a wedding band that would compliment my 1920′s pearl and diamond engagement ring (Which also needed a lot of work, but were told elsewhere that nothing else could be done because how fragile the setting was.). ?Once inside, we learned that Morgan & Company specialized in selling and restoring antique jewelry. ?The first sign that this was THE place for us was when we looked into the jewelry case and saw a pair of antique pearl and diamond earrings that looked like they were made to compliment my engagement ring..we bought them!. ?Then, we found an amazing diamond wedding band. ?It was an eternity band and too big, but Marcus worked with us and he reworked it so that I had the gold band at the base like I wanted….it came out beautifully! ?What really won me over though, was that Marcus explained how he could make my engagement ring what it always should have been (I had dealt with a jeweler before hand that didn’t do quality work.). ?He took the time to explain the entire process of how the work would be done, I was obviously very nervous. ?All and all, I replaced the diamonds on the ring, replaced a few of the pearls that were either worn, damaged, or mismatched by a previous jeweler, and finally had it sized down to the proper size. ?The ring looks absolutely beautiful, I can’t say enough!! ?My fiance also got his wedding band here, it also is perfect. ?All prices are very fair and explained thoroughly ahead of time, no one is there to force you into a sale. ?What I also liked was that their inventory isn’t all out on display, much of it is tucked away, so you never know just what he will pull out to show you. ?So whether you are looking for a simple gift, engagement ring, wedding band, watch, or need quality work done on new or antique jewelry I HIGHLY recommend Morgan & Company…..you won’t be disappointed!! ?They will forever be my first choice jeweler.
My fiance and I had been searching for the perfect engagement ring for months. After looking at dozens and dozens of rings, we found the most amazing, beautiful, and unique ring at Morgan & Co. Not only was the ring perfect, but Emiko and Marcus were so thoughtful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We love them- they really made the entire process an absolute pleasure!! I would HIGHLY recommend stopping by for a peek!!!

I love Time 2 Fix. It’s steps from where I live so convenience was the catalyst for the discovery of this little shop. I bring all my jewelry issues to Mike. He’s great! He’s always been helpful, clearly explains carefully all my options, and ?let’s me know exactly what he’ll be doing. Sometimes I have to stop by with two kids in tow and he’s very sweet to them. When I needed a temporary fix for my engagement ring being a tiny bit too big he let the girls come around ?the counter to watch how he solders temporary ring sizers. They thought it was really cool. While he may not be the cheapest option, his prices are definitely reasonable. I always know it’s going to be a quick process too, because outside of major repairs, he can typically do things while you wait. To the reviewer who had issues. I can’t speak for the quality of the work you mentioned, but I can say that Mike has an accent and you may have thought he said “15″ when he said “50″. I have to clarify 15 or 50 sometimes even when there’s no accent if it’s said quickly. I’d recommend Mike. He’s very capable, he’s engaging, and he’s very efficient. Plus there’s a little tropical fish tank with adorable sea creatures in it. Rad!
I went back with my ivory necklace that came out of a silver frame. ?He polished and fixed it for me, but it was a bit crooked. ?I would still go back but ?am adjusting my stars from 5 to 4 for the time being…
This is my first Yelp review ever. I had a good experience here so I figured it was time to join the party. Mike did a great job on a watch I brought in for a battery change. I noticed that it was really dirty and he offered to have it tidied up and it came back with all the scratches gone and sparkly clean. (Of course this did cost extra.) ?I also told him that I work late and so would have to pick up the watch on a Saturday and he even called me when my watch was ready around 5 pm and asked me if I wanted to try and come in that evening and he’d stay late for me until 7 pm. Great service!
DO NOT GO THERE”I work with stars!!”…. just never trust a guy trying to get your trust like that…I usually like yelp because it’s good to know who you can trust or not, and reviews are one of the best way to know that those days, sadly for my wedding ring, “time 2 fix” was a bad find. so I need to rebalance this place rating…I came in with my wedding ring to make it one size bigger, to let you know, it was a big deal to me as my first wedding ring had been completely crushed and looks now like crap by an other jeweler in downtown. so this one was the one to treasure.mike told us it would take 15 mn and would looks perfect, it was an easy job, I told him about my bad experience and the fact that I needed him to be sure it was something he could do, he assured me again that I would be pleased.so first, we did wait 50 mn, not 15… then, you could easily see where the ring had been adjusted, 2 fine lines would separate the original ring from the added piece, “It goes well with the design” he said!! how funny… anyway, we had a tired baby with us, we decided that it would be good enough, we could come back to hide the lines if I changed my mind, he strangely said a thousand time in front of the incoming costumer “lifetime warranty” (self-advertising I guess), we left.30mn later, looking at my ring trying to forget about the lines I noticed that the repair was starting to become blackened, this time I was pissed Body jewelry, first the wait, then the lines, the bad excuse for it and now oxidation?! on white gold?!!!so my husband came back to see him, he received the: “I had no time” / “I have to feed my family” / “god will remember that” complains!!! ?god will remember that?!!! what? that he did an awful job and is trying to plea for money to feed his family?!!! hmmm, I thought the guy was working with stars!!!… well, sure, seeing this crapy place, how could he?….he finally accepted to partially refund my husband after my husband mentioned internet reviews being wrong… here you go….
I went in there today, because my watch clasp was broken. ?Once you closed it, you couldn’t open it without pliers. ?He managed to fix it over the lunch our for $12. ?Apparently there was a twisted piece of metal that needed untwisting.Initially he thought it needed a new battery because it had stopped. ?When I came to pick up the watch, I was told the battery was fine. ?The service was fast and honest. ?I recommend them.
First of all, I have to thank the Yelp community for helping me find the best watch/jewelry repair in town.I’ve had a Cartier watch that needed the battery replaced and therefore has been sitting in my jewelry box for many years. ?After visiting a couple of watch repair places (including the ones in the mall) I gave up. ?I was fed up with dealing with places where making a sale was their only goal. ?I understand that the more you pay for a watch the more you’ll end paying for any repairs but I thought that they’d also be high on customer service. ?I was wrong. ?However, thanks to you guys I found exactly what i needed. ?Someone that really cares about their customers – that’s Mike.I called him today at 2:30 and he was about to close but offered to wait for me. ?Before going in I asked for an estimate for the battery replacement and I was pleasantly surprised to be given half the price than what I’ve gotten from any other places i went to in the past. When I got to the store I showed him my watch, and he confirmed the price which was a big relief. ?A lot of places give you a price over the phone just so they can get you in the store, but once you get you problem fixed they come up with excuses and additional fees.Mike suggested to leave my watch there since he needed to close but I wasn’t comfortable with the idea so he offered to meet me again at 5:30 pm when he’d open the store again. ?After talking to him and seeing that he’s no in to make a quick buck I went back at 5:30 and brought 2 more watches.Once I went back he started working on my Cartier and noticed that the gasket was in bad shape and let me know. ?He said that it doesn’t need to be replaced right away but wanted me to be aware of the problem. ?I must admit that I was in awe – a guy with his own shop that is is not making me spend more money. Whoa! ?I chose to have it replaced anyway just to play safe.Once he was done with that watch I showed him another one that I attempted to fix myself (battery replacement). ?I took the cap off, replace the battery but I couldn’t put the cap back on so it sat in my jewelry box for quite some time. ?In the meantime, the battery died so I needed a new battery – he replaced it, but the watch won’t work. ?He inspected in, dusted it and voila – it’s working. ?I bet any other place would’ve claimed that they had to replace something and charge me for it. ?Mike, just charged me for the battery and he’s currently working on finding a replacement for the bracelet that was worn out. ?After I saw how much he cares about making his customers happy I felt comfortable leaving the watch there. While I was waiting for him to clean my 3rd watch that no one has ever touched since I bought it (this is the pride of my collection) a lady came to pick up her husband’s watch. ?She got the watch and Mike noticed that her beautiful diamond ring could use a cleaning and offered it to her for free. ?Needless to say that she’s really happy with her shiny clean ring after waiting for couple of minutes.Bottom line, he’s got a new customer for life and let me tell you, this is not an easy achievement.
Mike may not be the cheapest in town, but he certainly knows his jewelry! He can problem-solve reasonably where others may end up charging you an arm and a leg?He has access to great equipment, too.He does talk a lot, but is very friendly and nice.If you have high-end stuff, he’s the man to see as well.A real honest-to-goodness jeweler!
After going to three different jewelry shops I was being told over and over my silver ring was going to be at least forty dollars – to just solder together mind you, flame to ring, nothing fancy at all. ?I was more than a little frustrated. (some even told me they couldn’t do it and then got angry when I wondered why they couldn’t use 14K white gold with the same results) Then I happened upon the brochure of Time 2 Fix at my local Farm Boy. ?I thought why not just go on in and ask, surely it can’t be over forty dollars. I asked Mike with trepidation:”How much to just solder this ring back together?”Mike answered:”Ten dollars.”?!? What you talkin’ bout Willis??? ?10 bucks??? Versus the forty I had been quoted several other times??? Oh, be still my heart, there are honest jewelers in the world. ?When I heard that I threw all my jewelry fixins’ at him so not only is he fixing my love’s beloved silver ring but he is sizing two gold rings given to me by my Nana when she passed AND to top things off he even saw I had three watches that needed batteries in my bag and he is hooking me up with a free battery. Oh, and need I mention it is all done in an hour and a half??? ?He can do most repairs while you wait but I wasn’t in any hurry.I get the feeling he just opened his business and in these rough economic times I felt compelled to make sure everyone knew where to get your jewelry fixed fast and not get abused by the prices. ? I am super excited to wear my Nana’s rings now and glad I found a jeweler I can trust.
I came into the store to have some links removed for my girlfriends watch. ?The store was very nice and clean. ?The owner was so nice and helpful. It cost me ten bucks and he said that if I had to come back to add a link then its free!!!! ?It’s so rare to have such a nice person helping you. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend this store.
I didn’t know I had a “jeweler” until now: Mike is my jeweler. I came in to fix a severely bent ring that was a hand- made, one of a kind piece that I bought for my best friend in Laos on a recent trip. What a find!! And then I threw it into my pack and found it several days later looking like a little ball of silver, crushed into oblivion.Long story short- I brought it to Mike, ten minutes flat: fixed while I waited and for 10$- it doesn’t get any better than that. The ring looks better than new and Mike was just the most polite and amazing person. He literally made my day.Customer service makes a comeback!!! Woo hoo!
I went here because it received good review and was supposed to be reasonable pricewise. ?My bf wanted to switch out the bands on his watch. ?Mike offered to do this for free! ?What a doll.
I had ran over my glasses with my car and mike fixed it within 20 min while I waited. He was very professional and patient. I had him readjust it several times since I kept thinking it was crooked. He did them all with a smile. He is very good at what he does and really cares for his customers. What more can u ask for?
MIke, the owner of Time 2 Fix, is FRADULENT! ?I agree with Connie F.’s review. ?On the phone he agreed to size my ring for a specified price (gave him the exact specific details of the repair). ?But when we got to his shop, he more than doubled the price. ? Although he greatly increased the price of the repair, we gave him the benefit of the doubt. ?We thought, maybe sizing the ring a half size down involved more work than expected. ?Granted, it’s a simple mens’ white gold wedding band, no stone, no design, no engraving. ?A simple and plain white gold band. ?We told him that the price of the repair was almost 50% of the price of the band. ?He was very hesitant to explain the process and grew angry when we asked questions. ?Because we got a really deal on the wedding band, we joked that repairing it cost us more. ?Then we grabbed the ring and said that he would buy it. ?Why would we sell him our wedding band! ? We told him “no” and he grew even angrier. ?Basically, this man is a shark preying on people who don’t know the value of their jewelry. ?He’s looking to make a quick buck and take advantage of people. ?We’ve always had a good experience with Yelp, but this guy is a bad find. ?Do not trust him.
I went to Time 2 Fix after reading several good reviews, and they were true. ?I had Mike repair two items and the price was fair. ?He will be my go to guy for any other jewelry needs.
Thx to Yelp I found Mike! He fixed my Hermes watch same day and with precision. Total custom job. He came in early to accommodate my schedule. And that’s why I support mom and pops!
Was recently turned away from 14K in BH to repair a ring that had been made for me BY THEM 4 years ago…a treasured gift. They said it was too fragile to work on and even when I suggested I would replace the stone if it became damaged by them in the process…they said NO.Sadly, it sat it my jewelry box and I missed wearing it every day. I ran across Time 2 Fix on yelp when I was searching for watch repairs in the area. Even though Mike had only one review…it was a great one and so I went with some watches that needed batteries and my treasured ring. ?Mike looked at the ring and said “why did they tell you this could not be fixed? ?EVERYTHING is fixable.” OMG – I fell in love with this man instantly. ?His honesty, professionalism and concern for me was astonishing. ?Better yet, he fixed my ring in 2 days and charged me less than $50. ?I was ecstatic! ?He carefully examined some of my older pieces (Dad & Grandma’s gold watches) and they are now under his care and capable hands as well! ?Words cannot describe how pleased I am with his attention to detail and knowledge. ?My ring looked BETTER than when it was new from 14K…shame on them!I’m now telling all my friends to leave their jewelers and go to Mike. ?He’s a treasure. ?His repair prices are low and his attention to detail along with his capability and talent is RARE and a breath of fresh air in today’s world.I would trust him with ANYTHING!
Excellent service – fast, courteous and affordable! Replaced my watch battery for just $6, in 3 minutes, and polished my watch to a beautiful shine. Mike was very friendly, kind and helpful. I will be back! Highly recommended.
Awesome service and super quick. ?They fixed an old watch for me and they were very helpful in the process.
I’ve been looking for a place to replace the batteries in my watches for several weeks. ?I stumbled upon this place because I workout a few stores away. ?Anyway, I went in and requested the batteries be replaced and I thought I was going to be paying a lot because of the location. ?Mike said he would service the watches in addition to replacing the batteries …. for $10 EACH! ?Now my watches have new batteries and they’re sparkling. ?I’m planning to go back to have my jewelry cleaned, in addition to any other repairs I need in the future. ?This was definitley a great find!!
Always friendly and prompt with repairs. ?The owner has been very accommodating and stands behind his work. ?You definitely feel like an appreciated customer which is becoming more and more of a rarity.
I went to this place about 6 weeks ago with a broken clock…I had tried all the rechargeable batteries I had, and none of them worked so I assumed the clock was broken. The guy fixed it and said that it was actually the batteries cuz he couldn’t find anything wrong with it (d’oh! I was embarrassed) and he didn’t charge me. He was really sweet, AND he let me bring my dog inside the store (small dog, about 15 lbs.) which was really helpful since I’d walked there and my dog hates to be outside, tethered. Great service, nice owner.
Mike at Time 2 Fix is an artist and can fix anything, he repaired my eyeglasses Body Jewelry, fixed a watch (that I had dropped) put a new hand, cleaned the band, and had it working and looking like new, all for $25.00. It’s been years since I have been treated like a big spender for such a small repair, this guy loves his work and his customers and really wants to grow his business. ?It was a wonderful experience, so I let him ?fixed my pearls for me and another watch and some silver jewelry I had not worn for years, I also sold him two vintage clocks for Christmas money and ?traded him vintage Chanel jewelry for ? three great new ?necklaces that were beautiful and so right now, so ladies and dudes spread the word, this is a great place to buy unique hot jewelry at an affordable price and get your stuff fixed and have fun doing it. Also he buys, sells, ?repairs watches, jewelry and glasses cannot say enough good things about his customer service. He speaks three languages including English.

Nobody X.

I have added Soffer Ari because I intend to review this potentially amazing store after purchasing a few items (very soon). I have started them with 3 stars due to the already fantastic interaction I have had with Ari upon my first visit to the store and discussions with him about custom work. For product reference pearl earrings, Soffer’s closest competitor would be Chrome Hearts since both are upmarket “lifestyle” brands that offer a variety of products including fine jewelry, leather bags/luggage, and highly customized apparel. I will be reviewing Chrome hearts as well afterward, since I have a few of their items, and would like to determine who will be “lucky” enough to earn my continued business. :-P Since I feel both stores have comparable pricing and similar items freshwater Pearl Necklaces, I intend to detail what I consider to be areas of greater importance (at ANY price): customer service and quality of the finished product (casting/finishing of silver and condition of leather, seams, gluing, etc.).-Lewis

If your looking for some great unique Home items, Pergolina is the place. Paulana & her staff are always above and beyond accommodating. I feel you can find a gift for that person, who has everything, along with for yourself too. It’s a perfect fit, in the Heart of Toluca Lake. You can make a Day out of Shopping & Dining in the one block radius. There’s Prosecco Trattoria across the way, Malbec a few doors over, Trader Joe’s on the corner & Coffee down the street.
So the stuff you will find in here is cute, super cute in some cases, but I can’t escape the fact that this is still Toluca Lake and not Robertson, so charging almost $28 for a place mat, $89 for a knitted scarf or journals coming in at upwards of $60, just seems like a bit much. In fairness though, Pergolina is located on one of the hippest little sections of Riverside, next to Weekendz Only, Lucy’s 51 (yay, love this place!), Eight-18 and one of the best little nail shops around, Cosmo Nails, but even so, I think they would be better off lowering their prices just a tad.
Not much in the way of masculine gifts. To be fair, that seems to be the case with a lot of gift shops, but it’s still disappointing. I’ve found nice housewarming and holiday gifts here for women, though. What actually ?chapped my hide today is that they now have a new, un-posted cash-only policy for items under $15. Since this is the only place resembling a stationery shop close enough to work to go on my lunch break, I went in here looking for a couple of birthday cards. I spent a few minutes looking over the card display (cute selection, but again, why no masculine options?) and approached the register with my selections, only to be told that I couldn’t make my purchase if I didn’t have cash. I had no intention of buying a nail brush made from a real nail or a scented candle I don’t need, so, I left empty-handed. Waste of time. Grrr wholesale jewelry!
I wish I could put Pergonlina in my back pocket and take it everywhere I go. I love love love this place. Paulana and all the lovely ladies who work there are absolute sweethearts. I’m not lying when I say that every birthday, hostess and Christmas present this year hail from this little gem. Sadly, I’ve left town.. But fear not non-Angelenos, the magical contents of this store exist online! However, to satisfy that urge for a delightful shopping experience, pay them a visit and they’ll wrap that perfect present you found in an equally delightful package. Go ahead, give in and pick something up for yourself too.
Ok. I know I’ve been giving a lot of 5 star reviews lately, but the gods have been smiling down upon me with some really stellar places. Pergolina is an amazing gift store. I happened upon it one day after deciding to walk around with a latte in Toluca Lake. I’ve lived in the area for a while, but I had never set foot into Pergolina until a week ago. I have been back 3 times since (due to a bunch of birthdays/openings/etc., – you get the idea)Now, gifting for me has always been an issue. Do you go with the gift certificate? Try to get them cute from Kitson? Sanrio? Something that deals with an inside joke or something sentimental? Pergolina is the answer to all my gifting problems. I actually met Pergolina herself. She is a delightful woman with an amazing eye for well crafted items. She supplies her store with unique, hand crafted, and/or original gifts, many of which Stainless Steel Necklaces, can be personalized. Part of the beauty of the store is its employees. They are super helpful and not pushy at all. Pergolina is definitely little diamond in the Toluca Lake area! Can’t wait to spend part of my next paycheck here ?*groan* ;-)
Sweet and charming and it smells so good you’ll want to move in. ?I tried; they’re not looking for tenants, so I settled for a lovely Ecoya candle. ?Burning it now in the meager attempt to make my apartment as Pergolina-esque as possible.
A little piece of Firenze in the middle of funny Toluca Lake…the buyer has insanely amazing taste and travels often to NY and Europe to pick up stuff first-hand. The store is decorated beautifully and displays are constantly renovated. Journals, candles pearl earrings, soaps, masks, jewelery, charms, etc. Best gift shop around. And the girl who works on Saturdays is really hot.
Cutest little trinket shop ever made!! Spotted the likes of Hillary Duff there. She was buying some very big candles. hehe! ?The shop ladies are very helpful and not pushy. Just the way I like it. ?If you ever need a personalized gift for a friend check out their jewelry case. ?Also they carry some high end candles ($20-$45) but they smell oh so good. ?Neat little greeting cards too. A must see!
Great little boutique. ?The shop sells beautiful things..like soaps, candles, jewelry and such. ?A little pricey but I like to shopping at these little boutiques, you can find such unique items.
